The Dublin-based broadcaster has chosen BTS Enterprise to handle both Channel Management and Advertisement Sales operations on Setanta&#8217;s Sports Network.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;BTS was chosen for its ability to tailor their software to meet our specific requirements&#8221; said Mark Pilkington of Setanta Sports, &#8220;our output consists of a mix of live and recorded material and as a consequence our workflow requires flexible media management and scheduling features from a Channel Management application. BTS were able to work with us to produce a solution that meets our needs&#8221; added Pilkington<\/p>\n<p>The BTS application is installed at Setanta&#8217;s Dublin offices and includes interfaces to a number of external systems including Playout, EPG, Music Returns and Audience Ratings. Craig Buckland of BTS said &#8220;A strength of the BTS application is the ability to tailor workflow to an individual broadcaster&#8217;s specific requirements whilst maintaining a single core application.
