Chief Entertainment selects BTS

Chief Entertainment a leading Australian media organisation has ordered a Channel Management System from BTS.

Chief is a new-media content production and encoding company, specialising in internet broadcasting and boutique television production. Established in 2000, Chief has made its mark on the media landscape through the production and webcasting of live music concerts, product launch presentations, corporate videos and commercially released DVD’s. Chief has pioneered new directions and initiatives in web streaming.

The BTS application will be used to manage the scheduling of Chief’s broadcasting output and is scheduled for full operation early in 2012. Jason Roberts, the BTS Project Manager said “We were able to deliver the system over the Internet and start on-line training within a few weeks of receiving the order ensuring a fast start to the project.”

The BTS features selected by Chief include sophisticated processes that help automate the scheduling process so reducing user workload and reducing errors. Roberts added “these features are essential in a multi-channel environment.”
